Brief Support to the implementation of the Denomination of Origin programme for Lao productions
Within the lao know-hows valorization project, the Agriculture and Forest Ministry of Laos, has wished to implement a Denomination of Origin Strategy with the support of the French Developement Agency. ABCD’s work was to support the definition of a directory scheme for the introduction and the implementation of denominations of origin from Laos (coffee, pepper, silk, rice, etc)
ABCD:
- Organized the Governing comittee
- Defined the organization and people who should take part in the Governing comittee
- Organized the meeting of the Comittee in order to inform him of the project, its importance and implications
- Implemented the technical committee of this Governing comittee
